UNC Charlotte is excited to host the Small and Historically Underutilized Business Symposium 2025 on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. This year’s theme, “The Power of Networking: Making Connections that Make Cents,” highlights the importance of building valuable relationships that drive business success.

The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Popp Martin Student Union on UNC Charlotte’s campus

This symposium is a premier opportunity for small and historically underutilized businesses (HUBs) to connect with industry leaders, government agencies and corporate partners. Attendees will have the chance to engage in interactive sessions, a reverse vendor fair, educational workshops and a dynamic outdoor business showcase featuring local entrepreneurs and business resources.

Key stakeholders from financial services, facilities management and university procurement will be in attendance, along with representatives from partner organizations such as CLT Inclusion, Mecklenburg County, Gaston County, CPCC, TIAA and more.
