Parking

Parking is available at Union Deck, 8755 Student Union Lane, Charlotte, NC 28223 (directions). Parking requires payment of a visitor’s fee or a campus parking permit. Visitors should enter the deck from Student Union Lane. Visitor parking is available on levels 4 through 6.

Food and beverages

Food trucks will be on-site with food for purchase.

Entertainment

DJ Hugo will perform from noon to 2 p.m.

DJ Hugo is a UNC Charlotte alumn and Charlotte native who is passionate about music, art and assisting the community in a variety of ways. With a wide variety of music tastes, DJ Hugo enjoys blending the old with the new, as well as mixing music that you do not typically hear together. Along with being a DJ, he is also a music producer and visual artist.

Special accommodations

Restrooms

Restrooms are available on the main floor of the Popp Martin Student Union. Enter the Union through the main entrance facing CHHS Plaza. The restrooms are located on your left next to the retail corridor. If you need assistance with locating spaces in the Union, please visit the front information desk to the right.

A Mother’s Place

A Mother’s Place lactation room is available on the third floor of CHHS to event attendees who may need access. Please email Ashton Atmore or call 704-687-7959 if you need assistance.

ADA parking and Paratransit service

The nearest accessible parking in Union Deck is on Level 4. If you need to schedule Paratransit service, park and call dispatch at 704-687-5636. Then, proceed to the bench outside the parking deck next to the Paratransit to wait for the vehicle to arrive.
